Least Expensive: Use rEFIt to boot from a bootable DOS flash driveĪll the information needed it already out there, but it's a pain gathering it all together and working out the kinks. ![]() There are 2 ways that I know of at this time, for flashing on a Mac.īuy the Xecuter USB Pro from Team Xecuter ($60) and use it under Bootcamp In my case, the SATA PCI card I ordered off eBay never arrived (it's been over 30 days now-coming from Hong Kong), so i got tired of waiting and decided to see if I could use one of my Macs. I can verify that you definitely can use a Mac to flash the drive. ![]()
